Starting Off the New Year at DVN Rochester, MI – Jan 10-11, 2017
Sea Link kicked off the new year with an exhibition at the DVN Conference in Rochester, MI January 10-11. This year’s conference featured 275 participants, including 34 car makers, 79 set makers, and 162 Tier 2s, universities, and industry organizations. Representing SLI were Scott McFarland, President, Greg Titus, Director of Engineering, Tara Dunfield, VP of Business Development and Marketing, and Victor Saab, Program Manager.
Sea Link’s exhibit highlighted applications and benefits of utilizing magnesium in vehicle headlamps to optimize thermal performance, light output, weight reduction and vibrational properties. The exhibit also included examples of the multiple product lines Sea Link provides to the automotive industry, such as heat sinks, brackets, reflectors, and PES units among others. Lectures and discussions during this two-day event focused on future lighting technologies and standardization, safety and regulatory affairs. Aligned with this year’s theme, Sea Link presented a technical overview of Heat Sink Technology and Innovation, demonstrating strides in optimizing the performance of LED forward lighting
